Carbon Equipment has the experience and capabilities to provide any design and modelling required. From small parts to large scale projects, we can work from a brief, reverse engineer existing parts, or work off your existing designs & drawings. Offering one-off jobs or ongoing work, we can even manage your entire product data management system including part number, revision control and access management to streamline your production and ensure you always get the right part. We utilise a range of software packages including OnShape, Solidworks and AutoCAD but can access additional software if required.
With in-house qualified engineers, we have a range of skills across a wide range of disciplines including mechanical, hydraulic, electronic and software engineering. We have a range of inhouse engineering capabilities including load testing up to 30T, as well as FEA simulation capabilities specialising in non-linear collision modelling using LS DYNA. Our specialised trailer testing equipment is also able to provide ROVER compliant testing of drawbars and safety chain attachment points on all trailers up to 4.5T, and we can also assist with ROVER compliant documentation and QMS.
With in-house fabrication capabilities we can even take your project right through from design to prototyping or manufacturing. Our capabilities include MIG and TIG welding, utilising our 3x1.5m fixture table to ensure accuracy, section bending and cutting and large diameter drilling. We can also provide onsite welding, fabrication and installation services.
